i used it once during a practice, and just didnt really like it as much as my 5000.

Did you adjust the settings? Those things tend to be highly customizable and very, very, very durable. I wish I had money and no conscience, because I'd kill for that pedal in that condition at that price, but you might want to play around with the tension before you take a loss on it.
